외국계 메이저 화학사 TPU, Technical Development Engineer 

* 업무 내용

- Develop and establish Market Development (MD) plans/concepts to business growth through providing the excellent tech service, support sales team from application and on-site technical service, contribute to the business growth of TPU Korea.
- Identify technology trends and share with segment leads- technology trends, competition, regulations, etc.
- Regularly update and implement technical road map based on segment strategy and identify technology needs
- Supports product launch (e.g., Participate as part of a product launch team to ensure smooth introduction of the product in customer serving processes. Support presentation/seminars and workshops to launch products
- Coordinate closely with product management, operations, R&D, and sales as necessary and work as one team to accomplish tasks
- Provide training to local customers.
- Technical multiplication (new/current applications with current solutions), Innovation Drive (influence R&D focus, influence industry/product strategy)
- Communication with internal and external partners on the application areas by providing regular updates on project status. Participate, organize, and present results in meetings
- Provide product and process recommendation to customers.
- Timely communication of the status of new grade development to promote innovation sales.
- Technical Implementation (current applications with current solutions) and Innovation Optimization (influence product/application development). Support sales by coordinating sample availability for customer trials
- Defines market attractiveness for current/new products (e.g., Provide competitive product performance information to verify)
- Formulation optimization when necessary and feedback to R&D + TD + Marketing team
- Facilitates innovation activities and events, networking, and external collaborations
- Works closely with the sales teams to promote new products and innovative solutions to customers.
- Influence product/application development focus
- Influence product strategy and new product launches

* 자격 요건 

- Bachelor of Science degree in Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent. 

- At least 3 years’ experience in a technical service or research & development role in the chemical or a relevant industry; in-depth expertise in polymer extrusion and injection is preferred. 

- Expert knowledge in polymer materials, particularly TPU, product development, application development, processing technology.  

- Experience on project management.

- Strategic thinking, fast learner, willing to familiarize with the Business.

- Excellent written and spoken communication.

- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.

- Motivated self-starter, independent, work under minimum supervision. 

- Ability to multi-task and to be a team player.
